Important Policies

Now that 2011 is here, FOGcon is just around the corner. That means we'll be publishing a steady stream of information and policies. The harassment policy is especially important.

The short version:

FOGcon is committed to offering a convention experience as free from harassment as we can make it for our members regardless of characteristics such as gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, age, race, religion, nationality, or social class. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. FOGcon attendees violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the convention without a refund at the discretion of the convention organizers. Our anti-harassment policy can be found at: http://fogcon.org/about-fogcon/harassment_policy/

Take a look at the full policy, and remember that any time you feel uncomfortable, you can turn to any con committee member for help. In addition, the safety staff will listen and take your concerns seriously.
