Programming signup closes on Wednesday, January 23, at midnight. You'll have all day on the 23d to sign up, but why wait? It's easy and fun to vote for the panels you'd like to attend, volunteer to be a panelist, and even offer to moderate. You can also suggest yourself for a reading.

- Go to the account page at http://db.fogcon.org/account/
- Log in, using the email address and password you used the first time. Or if you haven't registered yet, create an account.
- Once you are logged in, scroll down past the registration rates, the dealers room, and the Preferences section to the heading that says Programming Interest. Click the link to go to http://db.fogcon.org/program?edit=yes
- You will see a link that says how many programming items you have left unmarked, ranging from 85 to 0. Click it to go to the list.
- Follow the instructions there to make your programming selections. Nobody will force you to attend the programs you vote for; this is a way we can schedule the panels that attract the most people.

Minor Registration Glitch
We spent all summer working to adapt and install a new registration and programming database. The transition has not been quite so seamless as we had hoped. One glitch is in the Registration. As you're logging in on http://db.fogcon.org/account/, you may notice that you're listed as not registered. Look under the Registration heading, where you may see:

A known bug in the registration database causes a handful of people to show as "not registered" when, in fact, they are fully registered. (It even affects some members of the concom, including your faithful editor.) We know this is annoying, and we're doing everything we can to correct it. Until then, we apologize to the people experiencing that bug. If you have any doubts about your registration status, you can always email us and verify that we have you registered. We can see the correct information.
Despite glitches and other minor issues, we are tremendously excited about FOGcon 3. We have great guests, a fascinating array of programming choices, and some impressive readings lined up. Don't forget to register -- and bring your friends!
