How do I register for child care (at a hotel-based FOGcon)?
Child care should be purchased with registration [http://db.fogcon.org/
Child care appears at the bottom of the list of membership types. When you drop your child off for the first time you will be asked to confirm the information provided at registration and sign a waiver. (Please fill this in if you want child care! We can only provide it if we know how many kids to expect.)
What does it cost?
Child care for the first child in each family costs $45. Each additional child costs $35.
When do I need to register?
You must register for child care before February 20. Child care will not be available at the door. We have a limited number of slots, so sign up now. If we run out of space we will use a first-come, first-served basis.
When will child care be available?
Child care will be available during most daytime programming. You must pick up your child at lunch. Evening child care will not be available. You may pick up and drop off your child at any time when child care is open. You may come and go as often as you like during the morning or afternoon.
Friday: 1:30 PM - 5:45 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM, break for lunch, 1:30 PM - 5:45 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM
Who will be providing it?
We will have a licensed child care provider, with help from volunteer assistants. To join the volunteers, contact us at email@example.com
Where will it be?
Child care will be in a suite in the hotel. The room number will be posted at Registration.
Will there be snacks?
Yes. Please let us know if your child has any allergies.
What should I bring?
If you have toys or games that are fun to share, we’d appreciate the variety! For younger children, please provide diapers, a change of clothes, or anything else you’d rather we not have to call you out of your panel to go get.
