Fritz Leiber Centennial Year

Don Herron, author of The Literary World of San Francisco & Its Environs, reminds us that Fritz Leiber turned 100 on December 24. A plaque in his memory has been placed on 811 Geary Street, the building where Leiber wrote Our Lady of Darkness — and which appears prominently in that novel.

We’re very glad our Ghost of Honor is getting the recognition he deserves. Incidentally, Don Herron does great walking tours of the city. One is scheduled for March 13.
