Location: Walnut Creek Marriott (same as FOGcon 2)
We promised to let you know as soon as we knew more, and here you go! Yes, we’re moving back to Time Change Weekend (second weekend in March) for FOGcon 3, as we did for FOGcon 1, and we anticipate staying on this weekend in future years. We’re delighted to return to the Walnut Creek Marriott. We’re in the process of inviting honored guests, which can take a while, and we’ll let you know when we’ve confirmed our guests.
An important notice: We will open Registration this fall. Our target date is October 1. The reason is that we are revamping our database and backend to make life easier for both the concom and the attendees. This takes some time, as you might guess. If all goes well, we anticipate our registration system, program signup, and other user interfaces will look a lot like WisCon’s lovely system. Things like hotel reservation details will also be announced closer to the con. Check the website and/or read the progress reports to stay updated.
